This document is one of two prepared as  pre-readers for the Multimedia Authoring Course at Limerick University in 1997: It attempts to outline the various stages in the process of designing and producing a multimedia resource in Dance. The earlier parts of this document discuss the planning and design stages, including all that must have been addressed BEFORE any filming is undertaken. It then goes on to explain the various processes that must be gone through to prepare the initial filmed assets for inclusion in a multimedia title. There id also a section on how such basic assets can be processed to derive NEW secondary assets , in particular when they are enhanced with extra features and overlays. Generating the necessary audio assets is then addressed, before the main part of the document concerned with the Processes of Multimedia Authoring, which are listed as Preparation, Pedagogy, Authoring itself, and finally Publishing
