"Step
Dance" is
the first in a series of Mini Resource Packs aimed at Primary Dance
education.
Taken from the Ludus Dance Company's Wild Child,
Step Dance is an energetic and fun dance based
on the true story of a boy abandoned in the forest, trying to re-integrate
into society after years alone in the wilderness.
His struggle to fit in and adapt is expressed in the Step Dance, where
he must try and learn the series of regimented moves demanded of him
in his first school PE lesson.

The LOOK, DO, MAKE & LISTEN activities
on the disc
help children to gain skills in performing, composing and viewing
dances with musical accompaniment.
